Windows Vista: The Countdown Beings

The Countdown Beings! The long awaited Microsoft Windows Vista will be launched officially to public today. Microsoft Vista is the latest release of Microsoft Windows which was formally known as Longhorn.

Windows Vista contain hundreds of new features, including an updated GUI ripped from Windows Aero. Vista will be shipped in 6 different editions which support both 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x64), while Windows Vista Starter supports only 32-bit.

Price for Different Editions:

Windows Vista Home Edition – US$199.00

Windows Vista Home Premium – US$239.00

Windows Vista Business – US$299.00

Windows Vista Ultimate – US$399.00

Prices are not yet announced for Windows Vista Enterprise and Windows Vista Starter Pack and is expected to be announced today. If you are worried about Windows Vista Compatibility with your system, then run Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor.
