In the recent past, Performancing has been struggling to survive. After the resignation of Nick Wilson as a CEO, Performancing PayPerPost deal failed to get through, Metrics program also came to an end. And now, they are closing down Partners Ad Network. The new CEO, Chris Garrett announced:
I’m sad to tell you that Partners has to close. While I have every faith it could have worked, it wasn’t going to happen fast enough. Without more money invested it wasn’t going to happen at all.
Any ads currently in the system will continue to run until the end of the month at which time the ad code will stop working. Please take your ad code down from your templates then. Remaining ad time will of course be refunded.
This news is surely not going to be popular. All I can say is thank you to all the publishers and advertisers who tried the service and to all the people in the forums who provided feedback and ideas. I am gutted I couldn’t have some time to act on your suggestions.
This leaves the Performancing Network with only a Blog Editor Extension for Firefox which was rebranded as ScribeFire few weeks ago. Partners Ad Network failed mainly because they didn’t have a viable market of advertisers, small publishers didn’t have much scope with them.

I can’t believe my eyes….but I think they were rather popular, weren’t they? While dragging along the blogosphere, you could see their ads on most blogs….
But what I can’t yet grap is why shutting the metric system altogether?

Guess, it’s time to look elsewhere. Had already taken down the ads from ajaydsouza.com
Removed them from Techtites as well.
