Microsoft Live Search Team recently announced two new charity campaigns. They are working with Team Seattle and Ninemillion.org to help them raise funds.
Ninemillion.org
Ninemillion.org is a United Nations led campaign providing education and sports programs for nine million refugee youth around the world. Each time you search from http://click4thecause.live.com/, Microsoft will donate a portion of their advertising revenues from January 17 until March 31, 2007 to Ninemillion.org
Team Seattle
Team Seattle is the most successful motorsports charity in the US, racing to benefit Seattle’s Children’s Hospital. Microsoft will donate $1 each time you search from http://teamseattle.live.com/, until their goal of $25,000 has been reached.
Although Microsoft is just doing this for charity, I believe that this campaign would probably give a considerable boost to their user base due to the charity factor. I won’t mind dumping Google for a month or two to help Microsoft with this campaign. Go Microsoft Go !!

Wow, that is a great marketing campaign for both Microsoft and Team Seattle. I think they are all pretty good ideas. Microsoft is trying to regain its edge I believe.

wow! that’s something cool and generous at the same time. At last M$ is contributing to the welfare of the society and not just pumping the juice from it.
