Wii Goes Portable

Ben Heck stripped his Wii and hacked it into a portable laptop. His hacked edition of Wii includes built-in power supply, stereo speakers, a tiny 7-inch widescreen TFT and sensor bars. See the video showing the Wii Laptop in Action:

Engadget has promised to post an in-depth tutorial on “How to build your own Wii laptop” next Tuesday, so keep a close eye on them. If I were Nintendo, I would start mass producing this portable edition.

  • Tight! I remember when the PSone came out with their Power supply and Portable LCD screen. It would have been great if the bundle didn't cost more than the Playstation lol.
  • Yea thats pretty cool. I remember the PSone came out with the LCD screen attachment. Didn't do so well 'cause the screen cost more than the system lol. great idea thought.
