iJigg is a new community driven music sharing site where artists can upload their tunes and get it “jigged†by fellow jiggers (Yeah, its quite similar to digg). Once the music is uploaded to their server, you can share it via email, embedding it on your blog/site or by posting it to your Facebook account.
As a listener, you could listen to the most popular songs, recently posted songs or based on your favorite genre. iJigg is somewhat like a combination of both Digg and YouTube together.
The only problem with iJigg is that they won’t let you download the music from their site. Podcasters can make good use of iJigg to promote their podcasts as well as host it. In my opinion, iJigg would probably a hard time fighting against gamers and copyrights infringements.

Update: iJigg’s flash widget looks really sleek, but it automatically starts playing while the pageloads; which is quite irritating for most of us.

Hmm, well as far as Ijigg is concerned..I think it is a nice concept (although some what related to digg) but it can certainly pay off well! Digg only focused on text based or videos and forgot audio part and that’s what ijigg has stolen from them
Podcast can be marketed through them and hosting them at ijigg is also a good option, finally odeo gets a good looking competitor

Just wanted to drop a quick note: the player does not auto play if you embed - just when you load the song page. It’s actually a feature that we originally did not have but found that users wanted having gotten used to YouTube which autoplays the video upon load.
