There is no doubt that TechCrunch is insanely popular among Web 2.0 followers. They have just launched a supplementary forum where readers can have extended conversation.
Create a thread on any topic you like. This is a good place to pitch your new startup or product if it hasn’t been featured yet on TechCrunch (or even if it has), share tips with the community, spread rumors, or endlessly debate the definition (or existence) of Web 2.0. When interesting conversations spring up, we’ll link to them from the main TechCrunch blog.
TechCrunch forum runs on Jive Software (The same script which powers Apple Discussion Board). TechCrunch Forum is accessible at forums.techcrunch.com. You can read the official announcement here.
I always loved the idea of having a forum for my blog and after gaining some inspirations from Ajay, Everton and Ryan, I finally got one. The forum isn’t fully functional yet, I need to add some more categories and functionalities, but you start using it now.
Actually, I was working on the forum since last week, but thanks to hectic power cuts and broadband outages, it didn’t go live on schedule. TechBuzz forum is incomplete without you, so go to our forum and register (Isn’t a compulsion, but its quite useful).
I’ll be glad to read your feedbacks and suggestions regarding our new forum.

First, it was the forums that got me into the web. I started out to venture into wikis and blogs, because of my participation in some forums.
I see a trend here, that seems to complete the circle. Blogs shooting out forums, that is.
And I call it a circle because I have seen many prominent forums venture into the blogsphere.

Hi Thilak:
Glad to know about your Forum.
I have one Suggestion. If you could add some re-write rule in .haccess for thread and post URLs to make it SEO friendly rather than dynamic URL with lots of hash and strings, it would help you a lot to get traffic from search engine as static pages will get indexed more faster!
Check this forum for an example: http://www.christianforums.com

Thilak: That is not my blog. I was simply showing it as an example. I think they use vBulletin
