Howto: See What’s Going on Across The World

If you have been a long time TechBuzz reader, you would probably know how to leak into private webcams using Google, but some folks find it unethical, so here are few ethical alternatives:

Camcentral [link]: A huge directory of user submitted webcams across the world, some webcams even give us full control to rotate and zoom. Webcams are categorized into LocationCam, CatagoryCam or RandomCam.

Worldcams [link]: Yet another giant repository of user submitted webcams. You can browse/watch webcams on a world map (powered by Google Maps. Although it doesn’t have as many cams as Webcam central, its easy for us to search for locations using the search box conveniently.

Honestly, I’m not a great fan of watching remote webcams, I hate it as much as I hate watching Television, but sometimes it does come handy. For example, Your sitting here in India and you want to see your buddies celebrating 4th of July out there in US.

Thanks for the tip Lovedeep!

Well, I have no much interest in watching webcams. But I am not sure. I hardly get time to spend on things that interest me already. :P
