MediaFire – Free Unlimited File Hosting

MediaFire is a free, ad supported file hosting service. You can simultaneously upload 10 files at a time, there is no file size limit to worry about.

Once you upload you file, Antivirus scanner will verify your files. Once its done, you can share it via email, Yahoo Messenger or AIM. Ofcource, they’ll give you download link, HTML link code and Forum link code. You don’t need to signup, but they highly recommend it so that you can manage your file once its uploaded. There is no time limit, so you file will stay there forever, but if it becomes necessary for them to remove your file, you will be notify you through email.

Downloaders will get absolute freedom to use Download Mangers of their choice and resuming is also supported, just incase you get disconnected while downloading the file. You can download unlimited number of file simultaneous.

Thesedays, file hosting services are popping up like weeds, but I must admit that this one is insanely cool, especially their AJAX uploading interface. Since there is no time limit, people might start using it for backing up file, although MediaFire don’t want this to happen. At this moment, I’m unable to speak on the reliability of MediaFire, lets keep hoping that ads will generate enough revenue to keep them alive.

Thanks: Simon

I don’t think they can make it without clearing old files once in a while. The revenue hardly cover the cost.

i onced used this and they have a great service and a large file storage.. and on that time there is 1gb of bandwidth everyday so its not very good for them.. if you have a big files to access… so how is the bandwidth for that?

I think that, if you are willing to upload a huge file, it makes problem everyevery where on net. Its really very hard to serve well service free without ads. I have seen a lot of free webhosting sites, but none of them are 99% uptime. So,it is always hard to be freerider.
