Its winter season, decorate your blog with with a great animated snow fall effect. Even Google and Yahoo change their homepage for Christmas, why not you ?
To implement this on your blog, Add Snow Flake Javascript code (I have uploaded the code to pastebin) just before your <body> tag.
Wordpress users can find <body> in their template’s header.php. You can see the live preview on the script running on my blog, but that won’t stay there forever. I’ll remove it after few weeks.
You can use alternate images instead of snow flake, Just change “snowsrc” variable on line 8. If you need any help implementing this script, just drop a comment.
Note: This script is written by Sasa Skevin (not me)
Update: Thanks Ajay, The script has been uploaded to pastebin
Update II: Lovedeep shares a wordpress plugin which makes it easy to implement it on Wordpress Powered Blogs

Hi,
I did this last year. Don’t think I will be doing it this year, then again…
Btw, put the script into a text file for download. WordPress can be bad with code pasted as you did above.

First of all I like your blog and have been a regular reader for a quite some time. (one of the reasons I checked you up on Technorati) I just updated my post. Also maybe you should educate your friends on what exactly it is that you did Even if it was a long time back since they don’t seem to understand what I am talking about. I have no hard Feeling.

jimmu: You can find the javascript code at http://pastebin.ca/282430. I’m not so familar with Yahoo 360, but there should be a way to implement it. Maybe you should consider asking this question with Yahoo 360 Tech Support.
Lovedeep: Hey, Thanks for the link, I have updated the post and included it.
Ajay: Whatever you say Boss, I have updated the post.
Scribez: Thanks, Maybe some of my comments were rude on your blog. Please forgive me,
Thanks everyone

Good, but bad idea to put it on pastebin. If I am not mistaken it gets deleted after a while. I’m gonna catch you on chat and grumble at you about not hosting on your space!

Btw, a wordpress plugin was released today for similar effect.
