If you have been a long time Photoshop fan, you will probably know this story by now. Adobe just released the first public beta of Photoshop CS3. This beta natively supports Intel based Macs and also runs fine on Windows Vista. CS3 beta gives you a preview of future technologies which Adobe is planning to incorporate into the final version of CS3, like Adobe CSS Advisor, a new web based community to resolve browser compatibility issues and Adobe Spry Framework, a designer-focused solution for adding the interactive power of Ajax when developing rich, dynamic web-sites.
You need to have a valid license of Photoshop CS2, Adobe Creative Suite® 2, Adobe Creative Suite Production Studio, Adobe Design Bundle, Adobe Web Bundle or Adobe Video Bundle to try the software beyond the trial period of 2 days. To obtain a obtain CS3 beta serial number, go here and enter your CS2 serial number.

• Mac OS X v.10.4.8
• 320MB of RAM (512MB recommended)
• 512 minimum of RAM if you are running Adobe Bridge as well

• Internet or phone connection required for product activation
• QuickTime 7 software required for multimedia features

Final version of Photoshop CS3 is still in its development cycle and is expected to release by Spring 2007. Details regarding pricing and availability has not yet been decided.
