Google Toolbar 3 Beta for Firefox

Google release Google Toolbar 3 Beta for Firefox with handful of new features which should have come along with the previous version of Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer. It includes Adding Custom buttons, Bookmarking, sharing webpage via SMS or email and Google Doc / Spreadsheet integration.

Honestly, I am not a great fan of Google Toolbar. Last time when I installed it, my browser crashed every now and then.  Majority of us use Google Toolbar just for the sake of Spell Checking or viewing Pagerank. Firefox 2 comes with a native Spell Checker and SearchStatus Extension shows pagerank in an unobtrusive manner.

  • yup, i agree with you Thilak, i tried also some time ago and it semmed that my browser was bloated, in addition i didnt added anything special and good to it... so i uninstalled it. it seems like google dont think very much at the time of writing a software for end users. Cheers
  • Ajay: I wonder what makes Google Toolbar so amusing to you
  • Definitely a good update. Now, my IE and Firefox toolbars look the same. Need to change it in only one place :)
