MyPictr – Create Avatars for Social Networks

MyPictr is simple image cropping tool for creating avatars for your profiles on various social networks. Each network has a distinct avatar size and usually we have to undergo the tedious process of trail and error for creating the right picture.

Using MyPictr, all you have to do is upload your photo, choose the social network from the dropdown box and a selection box will appear on the photo. Once your happy with your selection, hit “pictrit” and the avatar is ready for download (or you can get it mailed to yourself).

As of today, they have served 29877 photos. They are said to be working on direct avatar uploading feature for MySpace. Usually, I use Paint.net for all my offline image resizing needs. MyPictr is quite a handy tool, but the name is quite hard to remember, so bookmark it.
