Microsoft is giving away fully licensed DVDs of Microsoft Office Professional 2007 and Windows Vista Business Edition for free as a part of their Power Together campaign. That is 399$ + 499$ = 898$ worth of software for free. All you have to do is participate in three Webcasts and/or virtual lab sessions within 30 days of registration.
Here goes the fine print, You need to be atleast 18 and a US resident (I don’t qualify both
). The deadline is February 28, 2007 and is restricted to one gift per person. Go try your luck and let me know.
Update: Its Windows Vista Business Edition and not Ultimate Edition, sorry for the error.

Hi Thilak!
Another way to get them for free is to attend the upcoming Vista Launch event in your country. I think this lunch will be happening across a number of countries in the coming few weeks.
Good luck!

I dont qualify for both either !
But who cares, i wasn’t interested in Vista from the start. I have original Beta 2 and RC1 dvds lying in my drawers, might as well just give them away to some folks who really want them.
Strictly speaking, in my eyes, Vista’s not living up to its hype. Lets give it some time shall we ? Say around a year ? Even XP took some time to settle down.
