Windows XP has a hidden sound track which plays as background music during Windows XP installation process, but most people can’t hear this music because they have a soundcard that won’t have drivers preinstalled on XP. Here’s a way to uncover it:
Navigate to C:\Windows\system32\oobe\images, go to Tools > Folder Options > View, check Show Hidden Files and Folders options and then uncheck Hide Protected Operating System Files. You will now notice a file called title.wma, that’s the hidden sound track!!
Easier alternative is to search for title.wma, but remember to include hidden files. Still confused? this video show help you out.

Nice info, I will check it, when I will reinstall XP, as I keep off my speaker during installation

Hmmm. It is a transy-dancy-kind of music. Feel like I have heard it somewhere before.
Cool find dude.

Excellent find Thilak! It actually sounds pretty good… good first impression if they had a soundcard, though.
Wow, that is some sweet music.

I’m sure I’d heard this before. Aah, a friend who’d installed windows with an old school sound card had this music playing at that time. The new sound cards which need post-install drivers don’t play this music.
And are you sure it’s during the install process. Only legacy drivers are loaded then. This, I remember used to play during the setup time. When you’re asked to give your name, etc.
