I think whn digg was updated to v2 they have done an algorithm change so that friends voting for each other take longer time to show up on the front page

Digg has had a big impact on my blog. i got 30,000 hits in two days. I got an additional 30 links as well.

So true. Digg is just another social networking site (in the form of bookmarks, of course), so it is logical that the more you network, the better you’ll do.
