Last.fm gets New Features

Music Recommendation site, Last.fm just got revamped this morning with a set of new features including a Flash Music Player, Free MP3s from independent artists and affiliate sales of recommended concert tickets.

The integrated flash music player looks pretty neat and sleek with the ability to ban, love, tag or even recommend the song to your friend right from the player itself. I guess the idea behind Free MP3s from independent artists is to make listeners happy as well as increase artist’s popularity.

Selling Recommended Concert Tickets should considerably boost Last.FM’s revenue. Overall, Last.fm has grown as a killer Social Music Sharing Site. I’m on Last.fm as xthilakx, check out my favorite songs, artists or simply add me as your friend.
