Finally after a long wait, Microsoft has released the final version of the infamous Windows Media Player 11. The final version includes improved User Interface, improved syncing and several other enhancement. WMP has been hanging out as a beta since early May 2006, now that the final version is here, we are curiously waiting for its first service pack (lol).
Actually it should have been released lot earlier, but the delay was caused by few last minute bugs which needed to be fixed. WMP should work on Windows XP and both 32 bit and 64 bit variants are available for free download.
I’m pretty sure, Folks who love Internet Explorer will surely love WMP 11. I would still stick onto the good old Foobar and VLC player.

If your running Windows XP 64 Bit edition, then you need to install 64 bit variant of WMP, else 32 bit will do
