Windows XP was born on this day 5 years ago. These 5 years passed by so quickly, I still remember the day I installed Windows XP for the first time, I was very excited about its eye candy looks and its usability.
Windows XP was a major leap from Windows NT, 98/ Me and 2000 both Security and GUI vise. It is Microsoft’s longest running Operating System and I guess this must be XP’s last birthday because Vista will be released by this day next year.
Earlier this week Apple’s iPod Celebrated its 5th Birthday too.

Ewww, I remember the first time I saw XP and I was not a bit pleased. I’m not a fan of changing the aesthetics of an OS just for the sake of change. The first thing I did was change the settings to make it look like Windows 98!!!
I have since grown used to XP, though. Not a horrible OS, but certainly nothing like my much-beloved OS X!

Yeah, I would agree with you, Windows XP (or even Vista for that matter) can never beat OS X.
