Google has decided to lift the invite based sign up process for its social networking platform, Orkut. So now anybody with a Google Account can join Orkut. Invite based registration process was acting as a hurdle, Hopefully this move should bringing in more users to Orkut.
Here in India, Orkut is quite popular [In comparison with MySpace and Facebook]. These days I’m pretty active on Orkut, you can checkout my Orkut profile. Scraps, Testimonials, Communities… Its fun.

yeahhh! totaly love the new feature of replying back to scraps. if only the page would be a lil jus a lil AJAXified! how would i adore. and also orkut could use a new look. dull blue sux!

Kate: Yeah… I want it get some AJAX goodies like Fade-in Fade-Out technique and few others… I have reloading pages for every scrap.
