Now Adsense allows published to control the width of search result area, they have also removed the static frame height. Both these measures help publisher integrate the Adsense Search better on their site.
To use this feature, choose Open results within my own site option while generating search code. You should also provide the URL of page where search results will be shown, most publishers confuse this with the page were search box is shown.
Earlier I didn’t use Adsense search because it didn’t allow me to change the width of the search results, but now since they allow it, maybe I’ll have to change my mind.

That is a real good thing that they have done with Adsense.
But you know when I would really like it? When they let the publishers to choose the fonts of the Ads. Atleast let them choose it out of a few basic sets like Times New Roman, Georgia, Verdana, Tahoma.
It is really difficult to integrate a Ad that always displays in Arial with the rest of the website element. Once this feature is added - the ad would be truly integrated with the website - in content, in style and in typography.
