I was @ Kolkata. My GOOGLE goodie bag did not contain the key chain. Lets hear from other participants at the venue (I wasn’t too curious to look inside theirs )
It was great FUN, especially the doubts raised by the participants ! I felt I was back in my school English class, having regressed (or grown) to Harry’s age.
About the Essay, I was so focussed on my piece, that I managed to do it in a CRISP, concise 110 words. Then, later I tried to expand it to at least 150 by APPENDING some sentences. Before I coul finish the latter task, the warning bell had rung, and I started jotting down hurriedly on the fair sheet, whatever I had scribbled on the draft.
The ultimate result would be for the GOOGLERS to judge; but who dares stops me from dreaming that I won… by a wide margin….
Thats it folks, do share your experiences…..t
Yeah, Most of the participants in Bangalore were professional writers, So I didn’t think that I would stand a chance of winning, but after listening to those stupid question… I got some confidence to write.
Even if I win, What will i get ?
A trip to Google Hyd ? Who cares ?
I attended the GWC at Hyderabad.
Throw your views on the below essay.
On the big day of decision there was disagreement from few adamant people who did not have insight of the work to be done. The boss requested them to rethink of their protest and suggested them to go for meditation to keep the nerves in control and accept the situation.
He explained that as a professional you need to have complete control on anger management and adjust according to the situation. The boss and the panel decided that every person in the group can imagine like Einstein in broad mind and share their viewpoint stating the differences of good and bad following their plans against others.
The boss assured a democratic decision would be taken under the control of panel with the common motive of benefiting and success of all without hurting anyone.
At the same time they have to confide the fact that the goodness of the work should not be denominated or demoralised as they all are working with common goal of understanding the problems and bringing out the solution serving the needs to optimum extent.
