Technorati Link Count Problem Fixed

Couple of weeks earlier I had written about Technorati refusing to update my link count. Today I too up this discussion at #wordpress, so my buddy TechZ suggest me to contact Kevin Marks, The Principal Engineer at Technorati. But I was surprised to see Kevin himself appear on #wordpress to help us out.

What was wrong ?
Actually I was blacklisted by Technorati’s Spam Detector due to the large number of posts that I posted during Blogathon 2006. Thanks to Kevin, the problem is solved now.

Kevin joined Technorati in September 2003 after six years in Apple’s QuickTime engineering team and ten years at the Multimedia Corporation and the BBC, producing and coding museum installations, CD-ROMs and websites.     Kevin was pretty prompt in fixing the issue, not something you find in many companies nowadays. Glad to know he’s usually around in #wordpress incase we have any issues. I had no idea he once worked for the BBC.

    i did add as my fav, but am sorry to be going off track here my eyeballs have swapped places, WHY on earth did u interchange the sidebar from left to right?
