Google Reader gets a Facelift

Google Reader just got better with its new user interface and some new features like folder based navigation which makes organizing feeds easier and fun. Unread counters enables to visually see number of unread posts. And finally if your sick of reading posts, you can mark all as read. Now every Google Reader user will get his own public page where he can share his favorite posts, this feature comes handy for users who want to share their photoblog with their friends and family

The new UI makes you feel like your reading your emails on Gmail rather than feeds. I welcome this new change, but I’ll stick to my good old Netnewswire for managing my feeds. If your a regular Google Reader user and if you haven’t yet added TechBuzz to your subscriptions, then click here

  • Yeah... but then, your Gmail ID will be easily extractable by spammers.
  • New interface is ultra cool. Hoping google gives a direct link to our public pages like reader.google.com/gmailID rather than the numbers which will make use of public pages more easier.
