BloxPress – AJAX WordPress Theme

I’m sure most of you love Gmail, Netvibes and Yahoo Mail Beta because of its AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) Interface, now you can have such interface for your blogs too.. with superb collapsible AJAX effects and other goodies such as modules. You can add as many modules as you like by simply clicking the Add / Remove Content link under the logo. Resetting to the original default settings is facilitated easily by clicking one link. Moreover, its 3 columned, so that should make your sidebars look cleaner.

Its damn Good, Hell lot better than the same old K2. Go check it out guys and don’t forget to share your comments.

PS: I’m learning Scriptaculous now, to give this blog some AJAX goodies as well. I’m having some bid plans in my mind and it might reflect on this blog before the 9rules showdown on Oct 25th

I found the theme a little earlier today as well. It rocks. I am going to play with it on one of my other sites!

hmm tried out the demo looks great. but i guess it would only be so fast enough when the site’s with minimum graphics else ive seen a couple of site with AJAX/scriptalous , its a lil bulky and opera (which is the best with javascript intensive sites) gets choppy when scrolling down.

KM: I’m planning to create a AJAXified version of my current theme using MooFx or Scriptalicious…

    Or maybe Mochikit…

Moofx sounds simpler, so i’ll go with it

There are quite a few things that I don’t like about this theme… not sure if it was just luck you happen to create a post about the theme the same day I decided to install it on my site…

Anyway, the theme uses an alternative to sidebar widgets, and I have failed at getting it to work on my site. If it wasn’t for that… I would without a doubt use this theme for my site…

Honestly though… I am looking for a widgets ready 4 column theme.

Garry: Hmmm, Its bit hard to find ready made widgets ready 4 column theme, I guess on of my friend has developed one…. opps I forgot its name and URL

Anyway, you can always convert a non-widget ready theme to a widget ready theme, its fairly simple and anybody can do it
