New AdSense Ad Format

Folks at AdSense have introduced a new Ad format for its publisher. The new ad format is 200 x 200 pixels in size and its named as “Small Square”. It supports Text, Images and Video ads.

 I really welcome this new ad format, it would be helpful for publishers who don’t have enough room for ads on their blog. I’m planning to remove the large rectangle ad at the top of the individual posts and replace it with this new 200 x 200 pixel ad. I’m even planing to place a 200 x 200 pixel Image ad in my sidebar.

Anyway, I’ll try to minimize ads but removing the least performing ad unit, so as to keep this blog neat and tidy ;)
