A year ago I came across Andreas Viklund’s Andreas05 Open Source Template on OSWD.org, Yesterday I found this template when I was digging through my old collection of CDs and DVDs. This template really impressed me, But unfortunately Andreas05 wasn’t available for Wordpress, So I decide to port it myself.
Andreas05 is a Simplicity! No advanced features, no effects. Just a really simple, customizable design, widget ready and SEO Friendly theme for Wordpress. Great for personal weblogs.

How to Install:
- Download Andreas05.zip
- Unzip it and upload it to /wp-content/themes/
- Activate it from your WP Admin Panel
Download Andreas05 for Wordpress
If your a newbie, I suggest you to refer this page before install this theme. I’ve tested this theme on IE, Firefox, Flock and Konqueror. I haven’t tested it on Opera and Safari, so if you come across any bugs, please inform it to me. Anybody willing to localize this theme ??

In opera the content text size looks small and also the links (no top padding thilak?)
And the font size of the title of each post is also uhmm not so nice, not bold i can say. rest everything looks fine!

A great effort but I don’t think this theme is excellent for SEO. Hope that you make a right column version for this theme.

Tech-Scope.com: Thanks for your inputs, I’ll design a Right Columned Variant of this theme. I’ll also try to make the theme more SEO friendly by placing content before sidebars.
Left Columned themes aren’t always BAD. It depends on how the page loads, Now take TechBuzz’s Theme for example, its SEO Friendly because sidebars come after the main content.

I’d love to use this theme on my WordPress blog! I’m so glad that you ported it to WP! I can’t find it at the above link, though, due to site restructuring. Is there anywhere else online I can download this theme.
