Nokia 8800 Sirocco Edition is yet another member to its fashionable L’amour handset fleet. The name ‘Sirocco’ originates from the powerful desert-born wind that originates in the Sahara when a warm, dry air mass collides with the cooler, maritime air of the Mediterranean.
Nokia 8800 Siroco Edition is covered with black glass like polished stainless steel covers, so we can assume it to be more durable than any other phone of the same class. Initially Nokia has unveiled only two color variants, Light - which symbolizes Hot dry mass of air and Dark - A Cooler and Humid one.
8800 Sirocco Edition comes with a sapphire coated scratch resistant 2,62,000 colored display and a sexy slider mechanism to reveal the camera and its keypad. 2 Megapixel camera and sleek looking keypad are some other notable features of this phone.
Nokia will be packing a stainless steel Bluetooth headset with 8800 Sirroco Edition as a compliment. As of now its available only in selected markets with a estimated price tag of 1000 Euros.
Although this phone is visually appealing and packed with lots of features, its price tags really shook me. 1000 Euros = 1,283.35 USD = 59,714 Indian Rupees. The baby is really out of my budget
