Two days of work finally paid off

This is the third time I am swaping theme of this blog, But I swear I won’t do it in the near future.

While designing a theme I decided not go with K2 because its too bulk and badly hurts SEO. Although sidebar is located at the left side this new theme is more SEO friendly because it loads only after main content loads.

After reading comments by Madhur, Cameron and Sindhu, I decided to go for two column theme. I have disabled all useless plugins and javascript codes to improve page load time.

I have tested it on Firefox and IE, but due to lack of time, i couldn’t test it on Opera and Safari. Can anybody volunteer to test on other browsers ?

[This theme was inspired by CSpace's Logo]

well, ive have to admit, this theme is a hell lot better than any of the previous ones. simple, crisp and clean :D you made us happy t.bot! lovely theme, its a pleasure reading the blog now.

although you use a lil change here and there. my word is make a header space a lil more taller. and the light blue links a tag darker in shade, this light feels wierd to the eyes. besides aquamarine is so not in for links, kid.

PS: love the drop down menu for RSS. and hey! get back a lil user stat, like the top comentator one, hmmmm?

Hey dude , the theme looks great but i think you can change the font color of the sidebar . It is very light .

  • http://www.whoismadhur.com Madhur Kapoor

and might i also suggest you increse some width of the theme two . Occupies very little space in the centre of the screen . The rest of the blank area may give a dull expression .

  • http://tech-buzz.net Thilak

@Hardik: Fixed the comments box issue ;)

I hear that there is a lightweight, SEO-optimized WordPress theme currently being developed. I can’t wait.

  • http://tech-buzz.net Thilak

Paul: I was inspired by your blog’s simple decent looks.

  • http://www.whoismadhur.com Madhur Kapoor

Man you know any good sites where i can find some header graphics for my blog .

  • http://tech-buzz.net Thilak

Madhur: Right now I don’t know any such header providing site, but you can hunt for go pic on Flickr and convert them into a header.

The header your seeing on my blog is a simple 69 x 3 pixel image which repeats itself, so this makes my blog load faster

  • http://tech-buzz.net Thilak

Madhur: Thanks for your suggestion, I have increased the width from 630px to 715px. I have also aligned sidebar text to left side.

    Now it looks even better
