Yesterday Microsoft released the second beta for Windows Media Player 11, although there isn’t any changes in the GUI, it provides some bug fixes and integration with Windows Media Connect through the program which allows you to seamlessly share WMP libraries with compatible devices over Wireless connection. And URGE integration is still in progress, a joint venture between Microsoft and MTV to provide music download and counter Apple owned iTunes.
MS is trying its level best to counter Apple, but still there isn’t a Podcast directory like iTunes. Maybe Podcast would be renamed as Zunecast or whatever after Microsoft’s iPod killer Zune hits the market.
