Microsoft Photosynth

Microsoft’s engineers are working on a project know as ’Photosynth’ which promises to change the way you use the Internet.

Photosynth takes large collection of photos and distinguishes between their resemblance by passing it through complex loops of their algorithm and returns a virtual 3 dimensional space where you could walk, fly, zoom in or out even if your photos aren’t Gigapixel in size.

Doesn’t this sound awesome?. Photosynth team will be demonstrating it at SIGGRAPH 2006 Boston, So stay hooked up for updates. In the mean time you can checkout their website here and here
