Google Talk now interoperatible with AOL

If your still using the old Google Talk then maybe its the right time to upgrade because the latest version of Google Talk is interoperatible with AOL, which mean you can talk to your AOL buddies using Google Talk. This move comes after Yahoo hooked up with MSN to make Yahoo and MSN Messengers interoperatible.

Once you’ve upgraded, you will be able to share files with your buddies. Just drag and drop the files into your IM window and share files. You can also show your music status to your buddies (Google has intergrated it with Google Trends to show most listened songs). Sounds cool huh ? Thats not all, the latest version allows you to leave a voicemail upto 10 minutes just incase your buddy is offline.

Apart from AOL, Google is already interoperatible with some other clients which use Jabber Protocol. So stop reading now and right click Google Talk systray icon and hit “Check for Updates” now.
