Is Google Spying on you ?

Google’s motto‘do no evil’ is no longer valid, because day by day Google is turning to be more evil. Most of us know nothing about this.I personally don’t have any hatred against Google, but I writing this post simple to spread awareness that they are logging / track each and every search query passed through Google. And would you mind if somebody spies on you ? Recently AOL leaked this data, similarly Google might also leak this information in the near future.

How do they Spy on You?: They store a tracking cookie which can track all your search history and surprisingly they expire on the year 2038 !! However the cookie won’t directly hurt you, but on the course of time it may leak your personal identify to some attacker or some abusive Govt authority.

How to defeat search logging: To protect your self for Google’s side effects you need to surf anonymously, but that would considerably increase the page load time making it impossible to search the web. So I suggest you to use anyone of these

    BS. You don’t anonymize a thing using any of those. Think of it. The data collected come in a big pool for user-ID=0000000000000000.

    But still your browser sends his referrer, used OS and many other data. And last but not least, your IP allows to geotag you, the only thing SE’s are really interested in anyway. All the other data have more interest in the total bucket of data to get keyword data.

    Govt. ? They get your IP. With your IP it is easy to still retrieve your behavior, no matter if anonymized cookie or not.

    You are absolutely right. Google is amassing a wealth of data, and has already been asked to release search results. Whether you have an account or not with them, you can be associated by ip address and sometimes mac address. Even if you delete that cookie that google saves, when you go back to the site, google will simply reassociate your pc with the old search results. I strongly believe that AOL is the first in a string of these releases.

    Browsing anonymously is slow, like you said. Another place to go for information about the topic is eff.org. They have a browsing utility named Tor.

    I feel it’s crazy that they even store every search you’ve ever done. There was an article a while ago that said they wouldn’t release it, but the guy added “Never say never.” Hmmm, that’s a little crazy.

    Get this:
    When I turn on Private Browsing and then use Googleanon, I get an error message page from Google telling me that somehow I “look like” a spammer or malware or something and I’m blocked from using their Search.

    I have to delete their cookie and restart Safari without using Googleanon.

     Just recently, Google(otherwise known as Lucifer) started sending me messages after every search. Their excuse is that “they have detected suspicious activity”on my computer. These people are so far up the butts of our government elitists that they may never see the light of day again.
