MeasureIt is a Firefox Extension which enables us to draw a ruler across any webpage to check the width, height, or alignment of page elements in pixels.
Once installed, you will see a small ‘Scale’ icon on the lower left corner of your browser window. You need to click that icon and draw ruler on the page to measure it.

This extension makes my job lot easier by eliminating the need to guess size of a element. It’s surely a must have extension for web designers and blogger.

This extension is largely redundant if one has the Web Developer extension installed already. In the Web Developer Extension, go to Misc -> Display Ruler and a ruler much like this will pop up.

The web developer tool rocks. There is so much information there it is not even funny!
