How to Place Rotating Images near Ads

Couple of Weeks ago Shivaranjan had asked me how to place images near ads. This is a very simple trick and most of you already know it.

Placing rotating images near ads gave a real boost to my CTR. So I want to share my trick with fellow AdSense Publishers like Shivaranjan

How to Place Rotating Images near Ads

Ingredients: Free Icon, Image Rotator, Adsense Account.

  1. Grab some icons preferably 64 x 64 px. (You can use free icons listed here)
  2. Download Image Rotator Script and rename it to rotate.php
  3. Create some images using these icons. Remember that the width of the image should be 64 px and the height depends on what type of Ads you use (Ex: If you use Large Rectangle [336x280] its 280 px). I use Photoshop or Corel Draw to do the job.
  4. Create a folder and place all the images along with the rotator script.
  5. Use the code (shown below) to display Ads on your page

<table border=”0″ cellspacing=”0″ cellpadding=”0″>
<tr>
<td><img xsrc=”http://www.example.com/rotator/rotate.php” width=”90″ height=”280″/></td>
<td>

Place your Adsense code here

</td>
</tr>
</table>

Don?t forget to replace ?http://www.example.com/rotator/rotate.php? with the a link to your script rotator (rotator.php)

Does it Violate AdSense TOS ?

I?ve asked this question to AdSense before and they say its OK to place images near ads unless your image doesn?t point a arrow towards Ads.

But I suggest you ask AdSense about it, because it all depends upon the images which you create.

I thought this trick to the great JohnTP, So he published it in his blog without giving any credits.

Update: Don’t use this trick !! I got banned for doing this !!
