Use Gmail to Backup your WordPress Blog

Sometimes bloggers end up loosing their blog after months of hard work due to database errors or Server Crash. The only remedy to this problem is to backup your blog daily.

But Creating a Backup of your Blog’s database  manually daily can be a very time consuming & Irritating task.

Don’t worry here comes Dave to the rescue. Dave has posted a simple step by step instruction to create Daily Backup of your WordPress Blog Using:

  1. GMail
  2. WP-DB-Backup
  3. WP-Cron

    I use manual backup in my cPanel. But when I in Uni, I use wp-DB Backup because the server block my access to cPanel.

    Yeah, Even I used to use Cpanel for Backup, but it was a tedious task to do.

    I don’t see anything interesting in that post.Its normal that you can provide an email id there.I can use any email id there why just gmail? It can be done through yahoo……I thought some new feature from gmail team
