There is an interesting article over at Hardik Thakkar?s Blog. According to him by using Site flavoured search we would loss our revenue
?I have seen a similar analogus in site-based ads; on almost all of my sites, on days of major updates clickthrough percentage is lower than usual. I attribute this to the fact that people find what they are looking for on the site itself not needing to go elsewhere.
But in this case, I have several advantages myself, most importantly though CTR % is low the sheer number of visits is high because of pinging factors, secondly when visitors find what they are looking for on your site they are cetainly much more likely to come back and link to your site in their blogs, etc.
In case of relevant search results there are no such advantages for the site owner since the users are anyway going to other sites. ?
My Opinion:
1. A search for some query in Google will generally produce 1000 of results due which we would visitor would be sent to our sites as a reult we loss precious ad impressions / clicks
2.Most of the people just blindly ignore ads listed under ?Sponsored Links?, So there is no point in put such a search in our sites.

Hi Thilak,
Thanks for writing about my article here.. the trackback address is the article address followed by the word trackback, i.e.: http://hardikthakkar.com/blog/.....trackback/
Regards

The link in your post is referring to article address not article trackback address. Just modify it and click on it once, the trackback will appear..
